Bring Google Drive research into your customer journey
How Google Drive works with Custory
The Google Drive integration helps teams keep working files close to the journey context they support. Instead of hunting through folders for the latest research doc, experiment sheet, or stakeholder deck, teams can connect the relevant Drive assets directly to the journey work happening in Custory.
That makes it easier to trace decisions back to the underlying evidence. Journey updates, friction points, and action items can stay linked to the documents that informed them, which reduces context loss across product, research, and operations.
What teams use it for
Keep research sources attached
Teams link interview notes, synthesis docs, and analysis sheets from Drive so each journey insight can be traced back to the supporting source material.
Reduce document hunting
Product, CX, and design teams use Drive in Custory when they want the right files available directly from the journey instead of buried in folders or passed around manually.
Support better reviews
Linking decks, spreadsheets, and working docs makes stakeholder reviews faster because the evidence, recommendations, and next steps can be reviewed from one place.
How it works
After connecting Google Drive, Custory can work with the files and folders your workspace authorizes. Teams can surface documents where they matter, keep file references close to the relevant journey step, and use those assets as part of ongoing product and customer experience work.
This is especially useful when journey work depends on living documents that continue to evolve over time. The integration helps the workspace stay connected to the latest version without duplicating content.
Permissions and privacy
Custory only accesses the Google Drive files and metadata your workspace has explicitly connected. It respects Google permissions, so the integration does not broaden access beyond what your team already has.
Access can be removed at any time from Google or from Custory's integration settings.
