How it works
1. Connect your Discord server
Add the Custory bot, grant the required permissions, and choose where journey updates should be delivered.
2. Configure notifications
Select which journey events should trigger Discord messages, from new pain points to milestone updates.
3. Share insights
Publish context-rich embeds back into the community conversations where support and feedback already happen.

Permissions
The Custory Discord bot requests the following permissions:
- Send Messages: Post updates and notifications to channels.
- Embed Links: Create rich embeds with journey previews.
- Use External Emojis: Add visual elements to messages.
- Mention Everyone: Optional permission for important announcements.
Permissions can be adjusted at any time in Discord, and the bot can be removed from Custory's integration settings.
Privacy & moderation
- Only content you explicitly choose to share is posted.
- Private journey maps remain private by default.
- Channel and thread privacy settings are respected.
- Shared content and recipients are logged for traceability.
- Messages are designed to comply with Discord content policies.
